Cybercitizen Cybersafety Posters

As I have been developing
our Cyber Digital Citizenship (including Cyber Safety) programme I have put together these two posters to act as wall printables, to prompt learning that has gone on in the unit. Cyber Citizenship has two important aspects: Safety and Responsibility online. Safety focuses on the habits and skills needed to keep personal details away from misuse and the Responsibility side establishes the values required for behaviour in cyber-space. See also our banner on this topic.

´┐╝Cyber Digital Citizenship Banner

cybercitizenship_banner_bannersawardscomCyber Citizenship takes us into the values and issues surrounding the use of I.C.T., technology in the context of communications. Cell-phones, telephones, video, web 2.0 tools, Internet, LMS, social media sites and much more are covered. A great values and social-sciences topic to explore for your inquiry. Our latest banner for this makes a great display on your wall. Enjoy! Requires free registration here. We will soon have a full inquiry topic based unit covering this theme at our sister site in2edu.com.

About ICT Banner

Our latest banner highlighting what I.C.T. is about. Contains a Wordle that has a range of I.C.T. words. Enjoy!

ICT Motivation and Focus Poster

Success Criteria ICT Motivation
I use this poster to help motivate the boys in our school to focus on using their ICT Tools for focused learning. If they catch on they won’t create what I call, “Candy-Floss” Inquiry Projects (look good but no learning and thinking substance). Enjoy. Check out in2edu.com for more ICT Resources and the ICT Sections of our Banners, Awards and more Posters.

ICT Rubrics and Ladders (Software-Hardware)

These great ladders have now been updated again. Use them with other rubrics to provide a skills base and tracking for pupils. Here is an example rubric I used just recently for pupils working with Multiple intelligences, key competencies (SOLO Taxonomy) and iWeb skills ladder. Train pupils for an ICT Crew or group of Tech-Angels. 22Mb file as it is rather colourful and has many pages. These require our free membership to download. Updated in December 2010.
